张大中谈黄光裕近况:“挺好,经常除除草”

4月20日,在中国深圳电子消费品及家电品牌展(CE China)上,《第一财经日报》记者意外地碰上国美电器香港上市公司董事局主席张大中。

这位平常甚少在公众场合露面的家电零售业风云人物,作为大中电器的创始人,当年曾与国美创始人黄光裕、苏宁创始人张近东共同谱写了传奇的商业故事。

如今,大中电器早已被纳入国美旗下,本来可以享受悠闲时光的张大中,却在黄光裕“出事”期间,被这位昔日对手找来做国美的“定海神针”。张大中向记者说,这是因为他与黄光裕结下了“战斗友谊”。

当《第一财经日报》记者问及黄光裕的近况时,张大中幽默地说:“挺好,经常除除草”。

和黄光裕的战斗友谊

2011年3月,张大中接任国美电器董事局主席,并担任非执行董事。本来卖掉了大中,手上有这么多钱,投点项目日子也很轻松,为什么还要回到竞争激烈的家电零售业“受累”?

张大中不太认同“受累”的说法。他说,“因为搞企业这么多年,他(黄光裕)后来委派我的这点事,不是很牵扯精力,因为是非执行董事,应该是站脚的事,所以,应该理所当然地(接受),同时大家在这个业态耕耘了很多年,应该说之间有了战斗的友谊”。

“我们都是八十年代起家,我搞制造,他(黄光裕)搞销售,大家在九十年代中期交集,后来家电连锁的商业模式越来越雷同。就发展步伐而已,他年轻,在全国跑得快;我对北京熟悉,在北京圈得大一点,各有特点。”张大中表示。

黄光裕的妻子杜鹃是国美的“老板娘”,张大中是国美电器上市公司董事局主席,王俊洲是国美电器总裁,他们之间在决策、分工中如何配合呢?

张大中告诉本报记者,“国美有一个重大决策委员会,主席是杜总(杜鹃);我是香港上市公司的董事会主席,董事会有什么事,我负责召集,让议题在董事会合理运转,并获得通过;决策是杜老板来做;俊洲是管理层,负责具体操作,这三股力量配合还是比较默契的。”

那么,黄光裕在国美的决策中起多大作用呢?张大中坦言,有时会看到黄光裕,“重大决策还要跟他沟通一下”。当记者问及黄光裕的近况时,张大中幽默地说:“挺好,经常除除草”。

“近东不应该对我憎恨”

在和黄光裕结下战斗友谊的同时,另一个不能不提的人物就是苏宁董事长张近东。2007年底,国美以36.5亿元收购大中电器。当年家电零售业的整合云波诡谲,谈判过程中,张大中跟黄光裕、张近东之间仿佛上演了一场“三角恋”,后来苏宁与大中失之交臂。

“像男女谈恋爱,错过了。”张大中回顾往事说,当年大中与国美在北京是竞争伙伴,彼此取长补短。“如果没有我们俩在北京的打拼,不会把别的家电零售企业边缘化。所以,我发自内心感谢他(黄光裕),当然他也有感谢我的地方。后来,由于他出的价格比苏宁高,商人嘛,择优而行,像拍卖一样。所以,近东作为商人,不应该对我憎恨,我们俩没有签合同。”

“我为什么找近东?因为在北京长期竞争,难免会碰锅边,所以跟近东谈得比较多。但是,近东比较谨慎,迟迟不签合同,所以让国美钻了空子。国美说你说多少钱,我说你必须比苏宁(出价)高20%。而且,我还问苏宁你要不要,苏宁说对不起,这个数接受不了。所以,我有什么让近东憎恨的地方呢?”

商业故事就是这么丰富曲折,后来黄光裕“进去”了,张大中还成了国美的“定海神针”。

张大中说,本来大中卖给国美后,他也就“完事”了。后来,由于黄光裕与陈晓(曾任国美董事长)合作得不是十分愉快,他想找一个临时的董事会主席。“考虑到与我比较熟悉,因为一起竞争,肯定天天研究对方的举止,(黄光裕)对我底子比较熟,觉得此人比较可靠。”

尽管近十年没再跟张近东怎么直接交流,但张大中坦言,江浙企业做得比较细腻,考虑问题比较细致,“我们是北方人,有时比较粗旷,所以在性格上不是特别默契,但是人家(指张近东)做企业还是做得很好”。

国美转型不是缩手缩脚

尽管国美电器已连续十二个季度业绩逆势增长,但是给外界的印象是:因为老板在“里面”,所以要先保证盈利,否则会影响资本市场信心;而前几年为了保持稳健盈利,国美的互联网转型似乎有点缩手缩脚,毕竟这个决策需要花钱投入。

“老板夫人在外面”,张大中在接受《第一财经日报》记者专访时回应道,不能说国美转型“缩手缩脚”,叫”适可而止”。因为国美不能只追求额度而不计成本地发展,必须考虑自己有多大的体能,就像跑马拉松比赛,要跑42公里,不能前三百米就冲刺、五百米就倒下了。搞企业就是跑马拉松,要考虑长期“造血”功能,国美在转型上比较周全地考虑了线上、线下的销售,科学地估计额度,既不被拉下,同时也努力适应网上销售。

可以看到的是,这两年,国美明显加快了互联网转型的步伐。去年,号称“小李飞刀”的国美副总裁李俊涛调任国美在线CEO。在刚刚结束的“4.18”大促当天,国美在线交易额同比增长460%。

“因为这是新的业态,要高度关注。同时,别的企业发展很快,我们也不能比别人落下多少。俊涛是精兵强将、国美创业元老,在零售上有丰富经验,调到这个部门(指国美在线),可以促进部门健康快速发展。”张大中说。

今年,国美转型已明确了“全零售、新场景、强链接”的方向。不仅线上、线下,移动端还要发展十万家微店,并以“国美管家”拓展家电后服务市场;门店则增强场景式体验。向来倡导“店小二精神”的张大中谦虚地对记者说,欢迎到国美主力门店参观。
